Have you ever heard of the expression "It takes one to know one?" Maybe you'll learn more about how to be a mentsch after you finish your high school psychology courses.

So it is his highness' omniscience. The narcissism is not a very compelling argument.

An argument is where you explain with motive, means, and opportunity the fabrication of a nonexistent person like Marcion. This is actually pretty easy to do when you have a leg to stand on like the Testimonium Flavianum or the Donation of Constantine for example.

From what do you infer that? Quotation, please.

Because we know from the gospel that she was the virgin Mary, but this is not mentioned with her name in the single reference in Acts. Just plain Mary.

The title "Virgin Mary" is a later Catholic invention. The gospels never use that exact format - they just refer to Mary the mother of Jesus.

How does that imply his forgetting anything? Do you have any argument that rules out his thinking, "I've already told the reader she was a virgin when she conceived Jesus, so there's no need to repeat myself on that point"?

As Toto pointed out, the veneration of Mary was a late development in Christian history. There is zero evidence that Christians of the first couple of centuries thought there was anything special about her.

And Peter tells us that Jesus is from Nazareth but we know that too. Did the writer of Acts think we'd confuse him with Jesus of Athens?! And it wouldn't make any difference to his audience whether he was from Nazareth or Haifa.

It must be noted that in the Gospels that Mary the supposed mother of Jesus was a Virgin.

Luke 1
Quote:
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary...

Your claim is totally erroneous and hopelessy absurd.

The author of gLuke claimed that it was God who selected the virgin Mary and even Sent an Angel Gabriel to give her the most wonderful news.

After reading gLuke it MUST be that Christians of the JESUS cult thought Mary was a special virgin.

29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be . 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God...

Indeed. Considering the author of Acts thought Mary was still alive, and that she was the chosen of God, she sure didn't get much billing in Acts. All of one mention without even extolling the fact that she had been a miraculous virgin. Acts 1:14. One would expect some great praise of this great woman, but instead she's just one of the gang, only the mother of the mere man Jesus, with no praise, nothing.:

They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers
