The sunday school teacher I've been listening to today is a YE Charlatan!

I've just got back from Sunday School and they were studying the prophecies of Daniel which I didn't mind one bit. But why did the Sunday school teacher start to give me crap avout evolution being not science but a philosophy and gives out a doubtful example of how the author of this book he's been study Daniel's prophecies from claims his daughter became an athiest because of evolution being taught at a public school at the very last minute of sunday school? And then tells me that his crappy YEC views is part of the biblical foundation and truth, which it's not and claims that without the views of Genesis 1-11 young earth style, biblical methods, truth, foundations, etc. will all be useless (yeah, right, sure it does, liar!), he tells me he believes that dinosaurs were real and on the ark (Only Birds, not the non avian types.) and evolution = atheism and on and on and on. Do you think it's all crap? I think so. This makes me sorry I ever got into the classroom instead of the sunday school class room I'm most comfortable at, where they understood everything there is to know concerning the truthful concept of the old earth and notion of dinosaurs living before men. But they still don't understand of what evolution is truly all about. I'll I can say is that whether that SS YEC likes it or not, he will have to learn the hard way that what he's believing concerning about genesis 1-11 is a lie and you don't need YEC crap, ignorance, denial, made up stories, slamming evolution, stupid lies, and falsehoods to discuss about biblical foundations, understandings, prophecies, truth, and the gospel. And praying about for me to a convert to YECism won't work at all, ever. That is the reason I'm pretty upset right now other than asking the wrong person for help of getting a job and find work that pays good mony like being a newspaper deliverer which is what I want to do, only for her to be of no help to me at all.

I can tell I'm not have a good Sunday at all.

I very much doubt that your Sunday school teacher lied to you.

He if anything is himself a victim of the creationists and sincerely believes the YEC claims.

We are not going to get very far in defeating creationism until we all realize that the rank-and-file are not the people who are the real enemy. When dealing with the rank-and-file types we must show why we feel their claims are wrong and not resort to calling them liars.

I agree.

However calling the deluded "liars" will not convince the deluded. And it will not help us with those witnessing the exchange who will very likely find the other side more believable as a result.

That's what mom says. She says that it was wrong for me for calling him a liar and tells me that I need to apologize to him when I meet up with him again. Actually, I won't have to deal with him much because next Sunday is his last day on teaching the subject on prophecies and then he will return back home to Hastings, MI

Your right, mom's right, I need to apologize.

She'll be going to his class once more time and I'll be going back to the class I'm comfort with. When she does meet up with him, I told her to tell him I'm sorry for calling him a liar by writing a small letter and she'll give it to him next week.

The actually reason I went to his class is because my other sunday school teacher, Ed was out of town and I had to go elsewhere for Sunday School and I've heard from mom of how the teacher was reall good as what he teaches and got me interested a bit. So, that's how I landed in this class, where I got mad over his last minute remarks over evolution. Besides, How was I suppose to know what he's going to say at the very last minute before class is over with for the week that has something to do with evolution and not what he suppose to teach? :huh:
