What witnesses are we talking about? Most of the witnesses Christianity hangs its hat on were reporting hearsay or rumors.

I understand that there are many witnesses to miracles and paranormal events throughout history. But the problem with argument from personal experience is that it is not falsifiable and cannot be empirically tested.

However, the paragraph above still doesn't answer my question.

People claim to have seen Elvis, UFOs and the Loch Ness Monster. How do we know they are not mistaken or crazy? Even if we had actual eye-witness testimony of biblical fairy tales and knew who those witnesses were they are dead and cannot be cross-examined. Unless you are prepared to concede that Elvis is back from the dead too, just because some moron said it to the National Enquirer, you have no basis to make your bible claims any more than the same kind of "evidence."
