My condonlences, blueshuttle.
I only participated in this thread after it was moved.

I think the title gives the wrong impression and perhaps could have been worded differently to reflect a serious topic.
IMO ofc.

thanx...
Maybe you should rethink your thread titles. And not use the word 'virgins' so much.

Default pity the foos

To butcher a stand-up routine, the poor bastards aren't even going to be met with '72 virgins'...Islam got it wrong, it was 72 Virginians...so not only do they blast themselves to terrorist-colored bits, but they get beaten up in the afterlife...

But seriously, at one point in time I wanted my first time to be with a virgin, however after my girlfriend showed me the light I'd never want to do the horizontal polka with someone who is inexperienced and in pain! It just isn't fun unless...well you all know...

As far as the politics behind terrorists go, I don't think their primary motivation is virgins, I think that's just a chaser. The real motivation could be any number of personal issues (such as a need to be remembered, a nedd to be in control, a lust for adventure or to be a hero) or it could be simple indoctrinization. You know, like "This is the right thing to do" "@_@ yeeees, maaaster, blow...up...everything"

right...I need to lay off the caffeine, I'm being silly...

There is nothing more dangerous than people with nothing left to lose.

The virgin thing is your own cultural propaganda minimising their plight by placing the most focus and blame on misguided religious extremism.

Contrary to popular legend, there are those who have gone to ~E~ and returned to tell the tale. If this topic receives some more serious responses I'll be happy to move it back.

As to your topic, Richard Dawkins' article, Religions' Misguided Missles comes to mind. You can find that article Here if you haven't read it already.

"I like stinky cheese" would be more on topic.
