I missed the first hour - what did it discuss?
The second hour seems after 40 minutes relatively tame (e.g. it does not even mention the idea that Josiah invented the "I found an old scroll" story). (edit: well, it may be coming back to scepticism) |

I watched it, and thought it was very interesting. It showed me more evidence that the bible is NOT the works of any god.
It will be on again Friday, the 21st. I am in Arizona and it's on at 3am, so check your local listing if you want to watch it. You'll most likely have to record it, unless you're a night owl. I am not only a donor to this web site, I am now a donor to PBS. |

You can also watch it online
I TiVo'd it. Very interesting. I'm always amazed that things like that tiny silver scroll are found. Egyptologist Dr. Hawass has been saying there is no evidence of an Exodus for years. This documentary adds more support to his findings. The morphing of the Midian god YWH to the Israelites YHWH was also interesting. Those little figurines of Ashanti/Astarte showed Yahweh certainly liked his women well-endowed... |
