I actually once saw a made-for-TV movie, sponsored by the Trinity Network, in which they portrayed large numbers of plane crashes happening after the Rapture due to xtaian pilots being whisked away.

Even more bizarre was the lackaddaisical attitude attributed to the rest of the world after it happened.

That's because the only people that care about what happens to other people are True Christians(TM) and they'd naturally all be gone after the Rapture(TM). The rest of us have no morals at all and with the absence of those bastions of virtue, we'd all degenerate into selfish beasts within minutes of their departure.

What utter arrogance and ignorance.
