So Isaiah managed to predict Cyrus by name. How much of a feat was that?

I literally know very little about this, so I'd like some of the skeptics opinions on it. Thanks. |

From what I recall of my errant years of Bible study, Cyrus is predicted in what scholars call Second Isaiah, which was added to the text long after the original was written, and after Cyrus had come to power. So it appears to be another miraculous after-the-fact prediction, just like almost all Bible prophecy.

(Im sure this thread is going to be miraculously transported to BC&H, just as the Bible predicted.) |

A number of psychics claimed to have predicted the 9-11 disaster. None of them can offer any proof that they predicted this in advance. However, we can't prove that they didn't predict it in advance so I guess by the Magus standard we should just take their word for it. Their powers are for real! Call James Randi at once.

Magus: It logically could have been, therefore it's up to you to DISprove it.
