Actually, I think there are elements of truth on both sides. I received a warning during the week previous to CF's downtime, which I intended to appeal, if necessary. After CF came back, I started a thread in the support section asking if the 7 days time to appeal would be extended because of the downtime. I also had a discussion by PM with the mod who issued the warning. Ultimately, she agreed to remove it.

However, the system for her to remove it was not working. She had to ask Erwin to remove it manually. Every couple of days, she has faithfully sent me an email telling me she hasn't forgotten. She had asked Erwin to remove it, but he hadn't done it yet. She would remove it as soon as she was able.

I did not try to file an appeal because I worked it out with the mod. I don't know if the appeal system is up and running or not, but even if it is, Erwin would have to manually remove each overturned warning.

I have no idea how many warnings there might be that needed to be removed by Erwin. If there were other people in the same situation as I, and if I were Erwin, I might well decide it was easier to remove everyone's warnings than to remove a a few dozen one by one. After spending so many days working on upgrades, and still having a lot more debugging to do, I think I would want to simply cross this item off my "to do" list as quickly as possible.

I was afraid of gaining weight when I started taking Prozac, but it turned out I lost about 15-20 pounds the first 3-4 months. I thought it was because once my serotonin levels were right, I stopped eating when I'd had enough. Unfortunately, I have gained the weight back. :banghead:

I would say posts 3 & 6 & 26 & 39.

I find Lighthearted's fear of "horrendous consequences" if anyone knew the details of the CF reforms before they were made to be especially humorous.

Paranoia will destroy ya' . . . .
Did paranoia destroy the whole thread?

They prefer Liturgy in their native tongue, where as American Orthies usually prefer it in Engish, which is mainly spoken in the Antiochian churches.
Maybe I'll stop by the Greek Orthodox Church. My goal when looking for an EO church was to blend in, remain unnoticed, not draw attention to myself..etc etc.
The Antiochian church was big enough that I didn't stand out as a new person. The OCA church nearby is extremely small but the pastor is supposed to be an amazing priest. I may overcome my fear and go to that church too.

Life is so confusing sometimes. Just when you think you're settled..wham! Fate has other ideas.

Tawny is a nice staff member.
