Just got back from an absolutely solidly entertaining performance tonight.

If any of you see the following performers in your area, I recommend seeing them:

Antje Pode: juggler and acrobatic performer

Ron Geoffries: magician

Tony Chapek: magician

Jay Sterling: magician

Lynn Trefzger: vertriloquist

Don't fool yourself. There is a list of christological heresies as long as a normal person's arm that are considered forbidden by many mods. They just haven't ever been officially stated.

The recent Nestorian rule (announced only obscurely in my tracking thread that I am aware of) shows that even later definitions are definitely being applied. And Docetism would certainly qualify. I suppose since it was attributed to the gnostics you could argue it was not technically a Christian heresy, but it would be a heretical view of Christ that was pretty early.

I think Tonks had a list floating around that he could probably post here.

Tempted and tired we're oft made to wonder
Why we must bear our burdens alone
While there are others living about us
Never know sorrow, though in the wrong

Farther along we'll know all about it
Farther along we'll understand why
Cheer up my brother, live in the sunshine
We'll understand it all by and by.

I was in Chicago many years ago on Martin Luther King Day. I remember watching the waves freeze on the beach, I remember having my breath sucked out of my lungs by the wind while waiting for the train, I remember the bookshops and beer and really outstanding pizza, I remember thinking Chicago is a lot like Pittsburgh, but with a lake instead of a bunch of rivers.
