Actually it's got two chances- Buckley's and none. Or for those not familiar with the Australian saying "Buckley's chance"- it has a snowball's chance in hell...
Are all moderators this unfriendly ? Or does one get banned for asking questions like this ? Having a bad day ?

And pardon my assumption that it was radiation that was observed to be left behind by nail-clippers
...but it may well have been radiation.

The Magoo Institute is a little less definitive on this than it is on most matters related to nailclippers, which is pretty undefinitive. I believe they are organising a raffle to find the answer. As we know, pure chance is as likely to produce dramatic scientific revelation as rigorous experimentation and research.

Does anyone disagree sharply with that last observation ?

You think that was unfriendly? Ha! Check out the upper fora for serious rebukes. This one was actually rather sweet.

Good, I am pleased that this one was rather sweet. I still think a case may be made for "Evolution", but you are the boss of the snowballs and the rebukes, and I must humbly, (and I hope, sweetly) accept your judgement.

That reply was said partly in jest, much like I suspected your request had been.

Wink Behind the toilet bowl

Your nail clippers are hidding behind the toilet bowl where you never get around to cleaning.

*looks in her purse again...12 nail clippers, 4 unmatching socks of various hues and a mess of paper clips*

On that note, I'm off to go home and hunker down for the hurricane.... :devil3:

Default marginally related but offtopic question

When people bite (off) their fingernails where do these nails end up? Do they chew them? Swallow them? What do they taste like?

By the way, are there any people who bite toenails?
