I think Zombie Jebus hates me. He gave me the flu on Dead Jew on a Stick Day, so my four days off are wasted.

The dh and I call it HamDay instead of Easter, in our house a good ham is worth more celebration. I amused myself with this, thought I'd share.
Isn't there anyone out there who can tell me what HamDay is all about? Sure, Charlie Brown, I can tell you. Lights, please. "And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the fields, keeping watch over their piggies by night. And lo, the angel of Miss Piggy came upon them, and the glory of the Ham shone round about them, and they were so afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not, for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great taste, which shall be to all people. For unto you this day is cooked in the City of Bridgeton, a Ham, which is Babe the Pig. And this shall be a sign unto you; you shall find Babe wrapped in pinapple and lying in the crock pot. And suddenly there was with the angel, a multitude of pork chops, praising Ham, and saying, Honor to Ham in the highest, and on Earth piece, good taste for all men'". That's what HamDay is all about, Charlie brown. Praise be... ![]() |

I like knowing that Easter is a total ripoff of the rites of the goddess Eostre (Ishtar), and are in sober fact about celebrating fertility. Eggs are obvious symbols of reproduction, and rabbits- well, they don't use the expression 'fuck like a bunny' for nothin'!

Chocolate is good. Or ham. Ham is good, too. Though I prefer lamb. Mmm, roast lamb of god with garlic. And beer.
Beer is especially good because it celebrates our risen saviour - he who was beaten and killed, and we should eat his flesh and drink his blood... I posted about this just now in BC&H :devil3: |

I'd be watching some good zombie movies in celebration of Zombie Jebus day, but I don't have any. Humbug.
