ninja's, pirates are known for bad hygiene and scurvy. ninja's bathe. samurai's also do, but the whole idea of honour and serving people and shit is a bit off.

Oh, well then.

Knight kicks the crap out of a Samurai. Katanas were sharp, but the edges were so fine they'd chip on anything harder than a human body part.
Full Plate Mail + Katana = Clink!
Iyozane Scale + Heavy Flail = Squish!
Iyozane Scale + English Broadsword = Bleed!

Of course, a ninja would be more than happy to slit a knight's throat while he was trying to put his armor on, but a samurai would have to wait, and maybe help with some of the straps.

And, of course, if a knight managed to come head-to-head with some stupid ninja on an even playing field, well, ninja runs away, so we'll call that a draw.

Ah yes, but you're forgetting about Killer Robot Ninja's from the future. They would totally OWN a knight!! ( probly )

Have fun.

This is where longbows and crossbows come into play.

Full plate + steel-tipped quarrel = Hrrghack!

And let's not overlook gunpowder weapons - which our pirate buddies, at least in Europe, had in excess.

Full plate + flintlock ball = Hrrghack!x2

Just to be contrary, I know that they're not on the list but I'll give who ever wants to play control over knights, samurai, ninja, pirates, and heck why not a Roman legion or two as long as I get the Mongol horde!

Ningas say: -------

Samurai say: AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!

Pirates say:
Capt. Barbossa: "There are a lot of long words in there, Miss; were naught but humble pirates. What is it that you want?"
or
Capt. Barbossa: "Im disinclined to acquiesce to your requestmeans no."
or
Capt. Jack Sparrow: "Not just the Spanish Main , love, the entire ocean, the entire wold. Wherever we want to go, well go, thats what a ship is, you know. Its not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs but what a ship iswhat the Black Pearl really isis freedom."
or
Capt. Jack Sparrow: "More importantly, it is indeed a sad life that has never breathed deep the sweet proliferous bouquet that is Tortuga , savvy?"
or
Capt. Jack Sparrow: "Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest... Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly stupid."
or
Capt. Jack Sparrow: On deck ya scabrous dogs! Man the braces! Now...bring me that horizon. An really bad eggs. Drink up, me 'arties Yo Ho.

Now...who could argue with such eloquence?

pft. All you'd need to defeat a knight is a broomstick.

Proof:

I am carrying only a broomstick and major kung fu <ninja>
You, however, are carrying your weapon, and a 50 pound lead weight on your shoulders which you cannot drop. <knight>

all it would require is one quick forceful jab to your sternum in order to make you lose your balance and fall over. With that 50lb armour you got there <excluding weapons, which can be dropped>, I'd like to see you try and get back up off the floor.

ie. major kung fu and broomstick defeats full plated chained up knight with fancy sword.

Trained knights were VERY strong and surprisingly nimble. There are records of knights doing handstands in their armor (forgot where I read that).

If all it took was a brookstick (or better yet, a pole-arm) to defeat a knight, then the entire knightly class and the military dominance of heavy armored cavalry would never have come about: pole weapons were common enough to have nipped it at the bud if this were so.
