Heaven, they say, is a place of eternal bliss where no one makes a bad choice. Many Atheists ask, how can you possibly be happy for an eternal amount of time? And how can you possibly have free will and never make a bad choice?
My hypothesis: We are proving how it is done, right here on earth. Heaven is an infinite-channel satellite-link home-theater chair. People just watch. For eternity. No matter what is on. They never make a bad choice because they are not DOING ANYTHING. They have free will because they can watch anything they want. They don't get bored because there is infinite programming. They don't lament about loved ones burning in hell because that's not on the program, so they don't think about it. They are blissfully happy (hey, this is _educational!_) even though they never actually _do_ a thing. There ya go. Humans showing how it's done right here on earth. Eternal happiness in a sinless, free-will existence. (Run away! Run away!) |

Interesting idea!
Make it virtual reality scenarios for souls to load into that are tailored to each individual souls wishes so there are no conflicts of interest to resolve and you don't need an actual place for heaven anymore. Unlimited computing power would be drawn off God's "brain". And Hell could just be the same thing only with torturous religious VR programming instead of free porn. |
