That's RABBI Y. Josephson, you pompous agnostic! Off to Hell with you!

God is prideless. The tower did not threaten heaven. That is a vain thought. It was just a tall building. Man is so vain. Accomplishment is good if not done in vain. They were doing it in vain, not to the glory of God.
God would not need to be glorified if God was prideless. The need for glory can not exist without pride.

For those that don't understand that the 6 days are the days of restoration, as Hebrewe term used specifically, please read just the first few pages of chapter 1 here for that most excellent proof.

2Cr 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

2Cr 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

2Cr 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Wow, that was a short 2005. I guess a day really is kinda like 1000 years, or in this case, 9.5 months is like about 12 hours.

Anyway, given the situation the Corinthians were in at the time, it sounds like they were mixing the Christian religion with others, and those verses are something of a reminder to keep it pure, don't start worshipping statues and stuff.

I wonder what those verses do signify in their greater context, actually.

for those who can't understand that the 6 days were to be taken literally, and that there can be no pre-Adamic man, can be no pre-Adamic sin, can be no restoration, i present this: http://www.answersingenesis.org/crea.../beginning.asp

so, answersingenesis IS good for something.

edited to add: despite all this, your Gap Theory STILL does not answer all the discrepancies between the bible and science. it also does not erase the contradictions as pointed out in my previous posts. im still waiting...

If your actions drive people away from Christ, would it be safe to say the He would not be pleased?

This is exactly why Christianity is not harmless superstition, but harmful superstition. It's past time for Christianity to go.
