Edit: That should be, The Nehemiah Center that P_G leads is outside of Allentown, PA. I don't have the slightest clue as to where P_G lives.

It's a day trip for me to get there, and if it turned out to be uninteresting, a trip to the Crayola factory could top of the day. Plus the Pez Dispenser Museum is right around the corner from the Crayola place.
Thanks. I thought Nehemiah Center was a Australian church.

Dude. That's like...30 minutes from me.

P_G's always been nice enough to me, but then, I've never spoken directly to him. Just when I PM'd exec while trying to have a coup d'admin.

Anywho, I just got back from my walk, and while walking, I thought a lot about that Biblical counseling abuse thread...it inspired me to compose a song while walking.

This is from memory, so forgive me if I reconstruct poorly.

In Spirit-filled communities we are subtle rays of sunshine
Unless we find out that you're not the same

What a waste of time
How could anyone devise that world?
Such self-loathing slime
How could anyone survive True Christian life?

We serve for the greater community
We're holes in the walls of the factories
We trade suburban sprawl for urban violence

What a waste of time
How could anyone devise that world?
Such self-loathing slime
How could anyone survive True Christian life?

Please stop running in circles
Your mind is still not stable
This planet got off lightly with 10,000 years

What a waste of time
How could anyone devise that world?
Such self-loathing slime
How could anyone survive True Christian life?

Crazygirl's still not sure
There are too many teenagers
Godot bailed you out, but still you'll got wedged in the way of oppression

What a waste of time
How could anyone devise that world?
Such self-loathing slime
How could anyone survive True Christian life?

We'll build our new Chick-Tract nation
On homeschool edumacation
"Deprogram" all generations
I'd still rather lose my life than my soul

What a waste of time
How could anyone devise that world
Such self-loathing slime
How could anyone survive True Christian life?

What a waste of time

Yey. Like I said, it's a crappy reconstruction, but I've been listening to The Slits incessantly. :Cheeky:

Do you think it would cause too much disruption if Brent were invited over to uberchristians? :devil1: :devil3:

I'd really like to see him go one-on-one with Goliath. [But we should warn Goliath first so he doesn't think we did it because we hate him, more because we don't much care for Brent.]

I don't think Brent would engage much, but it might be interesting. I suspect he'd just call everyone names and ignore anything anyone said. You never know, though.
