If you've ever written fiction then I'm sure you've noticed that it's very difficult to create characters that appear to be more intelligent than the author. Yahweh, the Christian god, is a good example of how intelligence doesn't exceed the authors poor ability to create it.
I'm sure there are many many examples, but I'll name a few. An all-powerful being that wished to spend eternity with Christians, would simply create Christians and bypass the creation of the universe. An all-knowing being would have known it was stupid to place knowledge trees within reach of innocents. An all-knowing being would have known that the flood was inevitable and would have created Noah and family instead of Adam. Just a few of probably hundreds of reasons why this Yahweh is only as intelligent as his author and his author wasn't that bright I think it would be fun to list here all of Yahwehs shortcomings as a supposed intellect here. Obviously this god is no genius and most of us, including most of the Christians here, seem to be a bit brighter than this dim bulb named Yahweh. |

I think so too. The gods seem only as intelligent and informed as their creators...
