Mostly because we don't know what his focuses are, because we don't have his writings (besides what Josephus tells us, that he wrote about the Jewish war)...

...but partly because I forgot about him. :banghead: The significance is minor and won't clinch a case by any means (in the way that Jo. could). It would, however, make for a good concrete opening in an oral debate over Jesus' existence.

There is a detailed (thiough presumably out of date) discussion of Justus of Tiberias here Justus of Tiberias

One of the issues is whether Photius had access to the entire Chronicle of Justus or only to an extract from it.

This is not the text of the Jesus Puzzle that is the subject of discussion here. It is a novel of the same name that casts the search for the historical Jesus into a mystery novel format, which has never been published in hard copy. (It is worth reading for some insight into the development of the theory behind the Jesus Puzzle.)

My mistake. I saw it linked on the page and assumed it was the same thing. I didn't realize there were two different books.
