Amateurs who dare to misrepresent science like that only succeed in proving their conviction that Jesus did walk on water.

It would seem that the revisionist ideas of John Wansbrough on the emergence of Islam might shed light on the origins of Christianity as well. Is anyone familiar with his writing? So far I have seen a chapter from Wansbrough included in Ibn Warraq's book The Quest for the Historical Muhammad.
