			The title "Lost Christianities" doesn't make sense to me because Christianity cannot be a religion if it is the end of religion. For example, Catholics are Catholic until they become Christian and after that are they no longer Catholic in the same way that Joseph was a Jew intil he became Christ as the first Christian.  
		
		
		
		
		
		
		
	It is by way of rebirth that the true idenitity here called Christ was born unto Joseph after which time he was called Jesus (as in "I am a new creation") who carried the old sin nature of Joseph [the wily entreprenuer] to Calvary as the cross on which he was crucified. "It is finished" completed this task wherein the Christ or true identity of the man who once was called Joseph was set free. Is Ehrman celebrating these "lost Christianities" by any chance?  |
