Brahma's atheist

I'm sure relgions want to take us backwards. They want to degrade human rights, culture, democracy.
In a religious society peoples rights and freedoms will be destroyed. God help you if you are a woman or are gay.Ther will be no freedom of speech or expression.
Culture will take a hammering. No more books or films or tv or music that don't meet with their approval. In the extreme there will be none of those at all. Lots of bonfires across the country.
Democracy is a no-no. You often hear 'Democracy is un-islamic'. Why? The obvious reason is that it takes power away from the priests. People may choose their own future.
