I know it was a bit fallicious of me to post the OP but I wanted to see if we could get a substantive disscussion about the least substantive thing it's possible to do here. I like my OP because it itself was a pure postslut. And I got real discussion from it! I kick arse.

NB Since this is a postslut thread all posts with content here will be treated as offtopic. :devil3:

It is interesting to note that I have never been formally warned about post slutting by a moderator. An observations such as this is interesting due to the fact that I have had more than 1,500 posts in the last month.

Since most of my posts are not one-liners (with the exception of the previously mentioned battle thread), I have probably dodged the dubious label. I would tend to not consider myself a post-slut, though.
Indeed we have been online about the same length of time and you have more posts than I have games of Starcraft. Yet all of your posts have had something in them worth reading (if only because I disagree with it.) Boronut is another good example; he rarely posts well reasoned on topic posts but it's great reading nonetheless. There is often a lot of truth hidden between the lines.

Take this gem...

My postcount wouldn't be what it is without post-slutting, but I can understand why mods and admins would find it annoying.

I don't care what MonCapitan2002 says.

I am not a post slutter, or a post whore. I just have a lot to say.

So that is likely how they are penalised.
Not just warnings, we can disable their account for a period of time. The time can range from a few hours to indefinitely. We haven't disabled anyone's account indefinitely for post-whoring, I think the most we've done is kicked someone out for a week or something (for post-whoring).

When did I accuse you of being a post whore? While you may have more posts than I do, you have also been here much longer than I.
