You can roll your eyes all you want. But my question is not about the degree of power you may or may not wield, but whether you've abused the power you have. It's whether you consulted with the other moderators before you declared things "off topic" and, more importantly, whether the other moderators agree with the decision you made.

I've moved a few more off topic posts.

Whether something is off topic or not is not a hard question. If I had to call a committee meeting before making such a simple decision, it would be impossible to administer this board.

But if you think that I made the wrong decision, feel free to complain in the proper forum.
