If adopting the "weak" atheist position is an exercise in conflict management, then in my case it surely isn't working. Honestly, I just think the terms of debate are far better when I do not assume the offensive. I do not believe in God, and but for a semantic quibble or to, I could easily assert the position that there are no Gods. I just think the semantic quibble is often enough the difference between producing a sound argument and producing a shaky one. Thus I prefer the "weak" camp.
