Bump this puppie back to the top.

Come on, am I the only with the balls (or stupid enough) to get an "infidelic" license plate?

Do none of you have a plate that says "ATHEIST" or "NO GOD" or "SECULAR" or something like that?

Jeff, I think it's a balls thing...double dog dare em! Actually, some people's cars have been vandalized for bumper stickers, so there may be some fear involved.

I personally have simply never desired vanity plates

I have lived in Colorado Springs since 1985, home of James Dobson's Focus on the Family, Compassion International, Cook Communications, Navigators, International Bible Society, Terry MacAlmon Ministries, Dave Dravecky's Outreach of Hope, DAWN Ministries, Engineering Ministries International, Nicky Cruz Outreach Inc., The World Prayer Center, Colorado Christian University, Turin Shroud Center of Colorado and many others. Not once have I had any problems with my bumper stickers. I have had my license plate for about a year now and not a problem.

I know of no one here in the Springs that have had any problems of vandalization because of their bumper stickers or Darwin Fish.

People should not be afraid.

Jeff;

I lived in Georgia for most of my adult life, excluding 6 years spent mostly in the Navy. While I had a pro-evolution bumper sticker and an evolve fish on my car, it got vandalized twice. Both times it appeared that someone tried to scrap off the bumper sticker. So it does happen. I never worried about it personally, and I got a lot of positive feedback on the sticker as well. I don't have a vanity plate for the same reason LadyShea already mentioned: I just don't care to have one.

Hey Jeff...I grew up in Monument...just thought I'd mention it. I had a townhouse by Penrose Community when I was 19 and 20 then rented it to a Focus on the Family employee for twice the payment

Although I'm proud of my atheism, if I were going to fork over the money for vanity plates I would probably use it to express some other aspect of my personality.

August Berkshire, president of Minnesota Atheists, has ATHEIST on his Minnesota license plates.

I wanted to get a lesbian or dyke themed vanity plate, but the DMV wouldn't have it. I do have rainbow (gay pride) stuff on my car, and it has never gotten messed with at home, but it did get vandalized in Las Vegas.

Back to the topic (almost): My friend had a sticker made with the AAA logo that says "Anarchist, Atheist, Armenian." His car gets messed with on a regular basis.

Here uncustomised plates have 2 letters in front of 4 digits. I've noticed a helluva lot of plates starting with II lately. Must be the evil atheist conspiracy at work...

I can't tell you how much effort we put into that. It looks like it paid off!
