So how do you define "tentative data" and "undisputed data."

It's been a long time since any Biblical Criticism graced this thread, so it's time for me to do the job I was hired to do and ship this to ~Elsewhere~

Hi Hydarnes:

The rage of Admins reacting to the fact that we are trouncing them have decided that the only way to salvage any face is to move this topic to a Forum that has as its rationale for existence a declaration of inferiority.

To argue in the new Forum is to agree with its rationale.

EvC does the same with their "Boot Camp" Forum.

IOW, this is the atheist way of history - if you can't win by argument and truth "win" by Admin powers and by perceived insult.

It worked in the old Soviet Union and China and North Korea.

I will not argue here lest it be seen that I agree with the rationale of the Forum.

This is what they want. They want us to go away because they are fuming about the truth and the inability to match the arguments.

I will paste this post in a PM because the Admins routinely delete anything that angers them = proof of truth and inability to refute.

WT - there is no rage involved - more like boredom and disgust at the waste of time. I moved the thread here because it doesn't fit anywhere else, and because you are not raising any serious issues regarding Biblical criticism.

THe creationism stuff has already been moved to another thread, in the Evolution/Creation forum.

Willowtree,

Look at the last dozen or so threads here. What Biblical/text critiquing was going on (and I am not singling out anyone)? I asked a specific question a while back. Instead a general volley of personal incriminations has been flowing questioning how people view data/veracity/et.al. Mod's have been known to pull things back, IF there's a reason. The choice is yours...And I suspect you get far fairer treatment here then you get at most Christian sites.

This thread has run its course - but Hy and WT still need to start the three threads I suggested:

1. geological data supporting a global flood
2. physical proofs that a global inundation is possible
3. theological support for drowning all of humanity.

Waiting. . .

My post above and its common sense analysis is invulnerable.

You were trounced and in response you act like nothing has happened.

Proof of above is the moving of the topic despite your "claim".

You are enraged and seek to insult because you cannot refute.

You know that no theist would still debate in this inferior Forum lest the rationale be validated.

Good bye - you have the last word.

...Trounced WHERE, Willowtree?

Let's look back, shall we?

From your OP:

From the next post:

There is no evidence here of the Exodus.

Instead, the lame assertion that the "tradition" of Moses breaking the tablets somehow evolved from inscriptions at old Egyptian mines.

So this Judean sees this sign with "mine shaft no. 2" on it and from there the story of Moses leading his people out of bondage in Egypt and coming down the mountain with the ten commandments evolves.

You can't make stuff like this up.
Now here we are on page 9, and nothing has changed. You posted evidence for the origin of the Exodus TRADITION: evidence that Hebrews worked in Egyptian mines. But nobody has ever claimed that no Hebrew has ever set foot in Egypt, or worked in any Egyptian mine.

Evidence presented for the EXODUS itself: { }

You also mentioned "600 ghost years", and the claim regarding Biblical Succoth, but there hasn't been any discussion of that since page 5, where Brian appears to have wrapped it up with a post (number #111) that has received no specific and detailed reply since then.

After that, the thread drifted off into a discussion of the reliability of the Bible in general, your bizarre argument that YHWH must exist because the existence of the Greek gods is proven by Schliemann's discovery of Troy, a digression about a "conquest of Israel" recorded at Karnak that didn't appear to relate to anything being discussed, and the whole creationism thing.
