------------------------ EDITED TO ADD: SugarH.M., I notice (in your post) you're talking to yourself. Does this happen a lot to you? You actually have an audience which dialogues with you and sings the passion of the martyr who suffers the unjust prodding of the wicked, when you feel the heat? That is sad, to say the least. It might be recommendable to get professional help for that. |

That said, standard Jewish angelology (if that is a word), IIRC, has the angels being sexless and rather mindless. They did not have free will, which is one of the reasons the YHVH supposedly made mankind. The Nephilim were probably originally the other sons of El, who were given the other nations to rule, as YHVH was given Israel (or Judah, to be honest I forget which it was at that stage). The "sin", if you will, or even if you won't , was probably that these people worshipped other gods. At least, this was the justification given for what seems to be a naked attempt at stealing land. Granted, this is far from complete, as the situation was far more complex, with YHVH originally only being honored above his fellow gods, but with the origination of monotheism and the primacy of the cult of YHVH, the story changed. Of course, if we follow the so-called logic of this thread, there would seem to be no innocent nations in the world, and thus we are all worthy of being killed (and tortured forever and ever, since we are dealing with a Christian - can't you feel the love). |

Ahhh but critics accuse God of Genocide because of the bible "myths" but if these "myths" are about Adamic races dispossessing monstrous hybrids with God's aid (even for those Adamic races who did not acknowledge him) then you cannot accuse him of genocide against "innocent nations." "we are worthy of being killed"? really? I thought we were worthy of being saved. (Which is why Jesus died on the cross) |
