I read a letter in a local tabloid by a guy saying that the Jews are the bad boys of the Scripture. Since he's a Muslim, I guess pretty much he refered it to the Quran.

Is the violence and discrimination on Jews by Muslims can be blamed other than the Middle East issue? I'm curious if there are verses that downplays or speaks bigoted remarks against Jews in the Quran.
