You haven't seen evidence, you've seen paranoid ranting. And Art Bell does not have "high status in the Nevada area", I lived there 11 years, during the height of his fame, and nobody gives a shit about him and most have no idea who he is. His show was amusing and interesting for a subset of people and that's about it.
