Now will Cox put the rest of the curriculum she removed back into the standards?

It will be unless she puts back in the concepts that she removed.

Yup, need to keep up the pressure!! There are probably many out there whom now believe the problem to be "fixed."

AJC: Cox will recommend 'evolution' stay in curriculum

Quote:
Her decision followed a week of withering criticism from a variety of sources, including university professors, the National Science Teachers Association and even former President Jimmy Carter. The superintendent's office received about 900 to 1,000 online responses to the curriculum changes, most of it directed at the biology proposal, a spokesman said.
I really need to send that petition to her.

While we're on the subject, can anyone think of a way to automatically take the information from the petition and enter it into this GADOE comment form.

I don't think you should force it into that form. There is too much information that the form requests that is not in your petition. I think it would be disrespectful to flood them with that much data in that form. Can you imagine trying to sort through that? Lets treat them respectfully so they look all the more foolish. Send them the data on a disk or just type up the first page that we all signed and send it with a web address. If you print the list it would be over 100 pages, and not very useful to them. However, I think it would be wrong to force it into the form on their website.

Actually the list is about 200 pages and that is in 6pt font.

Hard copies are going to be sent. Proably one comment with a link to the petition will also be made electronically.
