Default Scriptural Support for Crucifixion & Resurrection

Given that the Christian man/god sacrifice for sin providing salvation derives from the Jewish messianic idea of a David-like hero/king, from Isaiah 53, Psalm 22, and the “sign of Jonah” alluded to in the synoptic, what other scriptural references are used support of the idea of crucifixion and resurrection?

I know other story elements also reference scriptures (like Matthew’s common “this was because it was said…”), but I’m asking specifically about the idea that the messiah would die/rise instead of the Davidic hero.

Thanks

Though not explicitly stated, Paul may have had Hosea 6:2 in mind in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.

Well Hosea 6.2 has NOTHING whatsoever to do with a character called Jesus Christ.

Hosea 6.2 BLATANTLY refers to a group of persons or more than one person and has ZERO do with a crucifixion.

Hosea 6.2 is a PERFECT example of "Chinese Whispers" so as to make erroneous claims about the Jesus character and the Pauline writings.

Examine Hosea 6.2
Quote:
After two days will he revive us, in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight...
The entire of Hosea 6 has ZERO go do with a crucifixion, burial and THIRD day resurrection of Jesus Christ yet day after day, like "Chinese Whispers", people keep claiming 1 Cor.15.3-4 refers to Hosea 6.2.

Well, Paul may have been referring to gLuke because an apologetic source claimed "Paul" was AWARE of that very Gospel.

"Church History" 6.25.6
Quote:
...4. Among the four Gospels..... I have learned by tradition that the first was written by Matthew......The second is by Mark......And the third by Luke, the Gospel commended by Paul, and composed for Gentile converts....
It is clear that Hosea 6.2 has nothing whatsoever to do with the crucifixion, burial and THIRD day resurrection of a character called Jesus Christ.
