Huh. Are you sure we're reading the same Gospels? Because frankly, big chunks of it reads like nonsense to me. Including parts theists usully point to and say "Isn't that beautiful and inspiring?' *snif*.

And the stuff that doesn't read like nonsense still wouldn't be enough to convince me of anyone's divinity, since other writers, both those claiming to be divine and those profane (and also a lot of plain old slick-talking con men), have said things of similar profundity. Having insight and a way with words doesn't make a person divine, you know.
