Somehow? How ever could you think that composing your message(s) in the totally affected, studied informal, and professional discourse disrepecting style used by pre-pubescent girls in their diaries and silly text messages could do anything but give the impression that you had no intention of discussing this topic seriously?

In a serious discussion, the use of proper stylistic form and observation of the ordinary conventions of spelling, capitalization, and puntuation are just as important as what one says. Otherwise you show yourself more concerned with maintaining your personal affectations than in communicating effectively or treating others with the courtesy and the respect that they deserve.

This is better suited for GRD. Please remain seated until the thread comes to a complete stop.

You have to factor in Jesus' abnormally high level of Love and Awesomeness. Then it all makes sense. It is well known that at the start of his suffering, Jesus would have accumulated sacrifice value at more than four times the normal rate, and the rate would have increased exponentially for the next few hours.

Woo, smackdown!
You so posted this in the wrong forum, mate. Welcome to the right one. We've talked about this idea a bit before and you'll find a lot of people agree with you.

(But do try to spell a bit better, even here. It does help your credibility.)

The easiest way to expose the absurdity of the stories of religions like Christianity is to retell their stories using different names and in different settings.

I agree. It's funny how fast the stories lose their shine when the names are changed...

I've read Freke and Gandy. As well as Price, Doherty, Pagels, Acharya S., Wells, Karen Armstrong, Paul Johnson.

In spite of my lack of a PhD - I'm still able to filter credibility from crap.

At least these authors don't come across as a walking encyclopedia.
