Default One or more Gods

I read a good explaination of why there must be a multiplicity of Gods.
Fiona Pitt-Kethley wrote in her book,''Journey to the Underworld'',
Anyone can see that the World was designed by a Committee.

This is a foundational idea in my own quest for theological understanding. I do think that first, theology should base itself on the assumption that the unknown (religious speculations) is consistent with the known (this world); and second, that such an approach tends to result in polytheism. :bulb:

Why doesn't it lead to "no" theism or "we don't know?"

Actually the Mormons believe the world was created by a committee that God chose an elect bunch from his spirirt children as the committee and they were sent down to organise the matter in to earth basically.
