Must have something to do with Happy Water, as opposed to Sad Water.

Huh, well, I can certainly agree that moping woe-is-me I-need-pity types generally just need a strong kick in the ass.

Actual clinical depression is nothing to screw around with though. I think I get the distinction you were making

In my profile, I stated that I believed in Absolute Truth, and I believed that our purpose was to seek it out. Everything in the world is the result of cause and effect. It is a series of actions and reactions. God is the initial action. I have often drawn on a comparison with the Big Bang and the expanding universe. I believe that this initial action is a part of a greater intelligence, because everything follows an order of sorts and there seems to be a reason why everything is the way it is. Science is just the continuation of Adam's commandment, as is philosophy. With Absolute Truth there is also Absolute Morality. We must not only try to learn about the world, we should also know about ourselves. We need to learn how to control ourselves. What God wants for us is that we will be responsible, and create our own Eden.

Chaupoline,
What do you think about Jesus' words:
"I am the way, and the truth and the life." John 14:6

If God is the initial action, what was the trigger for God?
In what way, precisely, should we control ourselves?

Jesus is God. Jesus' message is God's message. God/Jesus not only called for violence he created violence. You've just speculated that God just killed another 150,000. Where was Jesus err God then?

I do not know what the trigger for God is? I do not know what the Absolute Morality is either. I think the end result would be where everyone works together and is respectful to each other. I am not making a new religion. I am not a spiritual leader. I am glad you are interested but I may be wrong. I think that it is better if everyone tries to make the more perfect union dreamt of by the Founding Fathers of the United States. Humanity is a work in progress.
