It’s spelt Français, with a ç (cedilla), not an ordinary c.

And I think that lots of anime characters are cool, I just don't let it become an obsession. I'm also getting the impression that I should be learning German.

Oh yeah! I wish I was better at it though, because I've got a whole list of languages I wish I could speak.

PS. When it comes to linking anime with the bible, Gainax's 'Evangelion' made it pretty easy. He probably doesn't realize that they just did it because it sounds cool.
