That can be extremely dangerous now. Sky marshals consider people sneaking into the bathroom together to be a felony terrorist threat (no joke).

I thought that membership of the Mile High Club proper meant that you had to have met the person for the first time on the flight!

Maybe I'm wrong.

I once applied for single membership, but that's another matter.

If they are going to note such sneaking they'll note that it's a man and a woman and they'll be thinking of the mile high club also. I doubt it's a big problem.

There have been arrests.

The premise is that people could be sneaking weapons or arming an explosive.

It is, of course totally stupid, but the behavior of the government in the past 2 years has been anything but rational.

One woman trying to nurse, refused the airline's blankets for her baby (it was unwrapped and this was at the height of the SARS scare). She was flagged or suspicious behavior. When she got into a bit of an argument with another passenger about her nursing, she was arrested.

Why in the world would two people in a bathroom be some special danger?

I've heard of the nursing woman but that says nothing about whether two people in a bathroom are suspicious.

You misspelled "past 200 years".

True, we've seen some exceptional irrationality in the the last two years, but there's plenty if you go back a few more.

[really, I'm not trying to get this thread sent over to politics...]

Koy wins.

I was reminded of his experience the other day while driving, when I mis-read a road sign. Instead of reading "Concealed Entrance", I read "Congealed Entrance". Every time I see that sign I think of Koy's story!

Koy, that story was definitely pretty gross, but I personally thought it was hilarious. 'Course, I used to counsel sex offenders; after the stories I heard there, nothing about sex bothers me now. Thanks for the laughs. I was laughing so hard that I was crying by the end of the post...
