I think there must be a misunderstanding. I'm quite sure it's "cake or death."

I cannot vote since there is not an option for both.

I can't vote either.

This question must be considered on a confection-by-confection basis.

I vote pie, because a good vegan pie is a lot easier to come by than a good vegan cake.

Cake.

Specifically, fruitcake. Any kind, even the ghastly things in supermarkets that are packed full of glycerine to keep them 'moist'.

Although I dare not have the stuff more than a couple of times a year. I have difficculty stopping. You know how smelling a particular food often makes you want it, and then after you've eaten it, you definitely don't want any more? Well, with me, fruitcake has a the opposite effect. After I eat it, I want some. And it just keeps getting worse. The more I eat, the more I feel that I somehow didn't get any, while the smell/taste just keeps winding up the craving. It;s as though it just doesn't hit the sides on the way down. I've sat there in actual PAIN from the amount I've eaten, and still thought "ooh, fruitcake! Maybe I'll just have a little...ow, it hurts... more... someone please take it away... hey, not yet!"

It's not even that I like the stuff all that much. I just like eating it, if you get the difference.

I need help.
