I just evened things up.

Pirates think cabin boys are sexy. Samurai think suicide is honorable. Ninjas win by default.

I wonder if the new Cruise movie will boost the Samurai rating.

Yes, but ninja also wear black pajamas, thereby making them targets for confused G.I.'s who think they're in Vietnam.

I hadn't known they made samurai that short, personally.

Hmm...

Pirates - At sea with a bunch of mostly male cutthoats? - That's no way to live.
Ninja - Alone in the dark? - That's no way to live.
Samurai - Master of his domain and a Geisha every night.

I choose Ninja pretending to be a Samurai. And I can still jump on a boat and attack a treasure ship if I want to.

Well crap. On one hand, I love all those Kurosawa movies. On the other hand, I love Monkey Island... Ninja's are eh, unless they're teenage mutant turtle ninjas.

I'll have to say Samurai. Teshiro Mifune is the shit.

I look at it this way: Which would I rather be: Someone who has to commit sepukku everytime he sneezed the wrong way (stupid Bushido)? Or a badass shinobi who was not bound by the Bushi code, and so could escape said restrictions of the status quo if need be? Yeah, well, I value my life, so ninjas it is.

But yeah, Kurosawa was funny, because he kind of sent-up all the old Samurai mythos of Japan, but at the same time made everyone just love said mythos more. *shrugs*
