The issue of what word is supported by the evidence for the offending verse of Psalm 22:17, "like a lion", "dug", "pierced", "whatever they did to Jesus", is not really important anymore in Polemics since most Christian translations now confess to us that the Masoretic text indicates "like a lion". However, I suppose because I consider myself the foremost expert that the world has ever known on the subject, I still periodically get related requests for information. Hence I've decided to resurrect my related Thread here at FRDB:

As to the source for the picture, why it comes from Flint, of course. But for those who are not named spin, I'll provide a complete answer. The picture comes from the book Discoveries In The Judaean Desert [DJD] XXXIII [38] by Charlesworth and is on the 6th sheet from the end of the book on the front side (strangely/mysteriously the pages with photographs here have no page numbers).
