And that scares you because? Because we are fed up with Israel being walked on and its about time the world faced the consequences of their terrorist attacks on Israel?

Unhappy

Witnessing anyone cheering mass death and destruction is a very sobering event. And these fundies want it so badly because they believe it heralds the supposed creator of billions and billions of galaxies swinging low with his sweet chariot to take "the chosen" to paradise.

Sad, really.

No, because there are people, apparently Christian, who are able to cheer at the notion of the deaths of thousands or millions of innocent bystanders.

I wish people would stop trying to hurry God, and spend their time obeying Him instead. You know, taking care of the sick, the poor, the hungry? Stuff like that?

I don't advocate killing people, but Israel has to do something. Should Israel just sit back and let more of their buses explode killing dozens every day?

Supposedly "Christian" people, that probably mostly live in my own country, perhaps even in my town or next door to my home, enthusiastically cheering on a potential nuclear attack that would kill tens if not hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children, far exceeding any terrorist act in history, scares the living shit out of me, Magus.

But I have to admit that, when I saw one of them included the following verse in his "tagline", the irony was overwhelming:

"He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." - 2 Peter 3:9

No. Should they slaughter random innocents to show people that slaughtering innocents is wrong?

And "nuking" or otherwise destroying an Arab city, potentially killing tens of thousands of men, women, and children, would stop that terrorism how, exactly?

No, it's because fundies are licking their chops at the prospect of bloodshed and misery because they interpret events as being divinely inspired and predicted. The heathens will be smited while the righteous enjoy the gains and virgin daughters. It's this sort of "us versus them" mentality that leads to depravity, not some mythical original sin.

Oh, and who was it that after 1900+ absense from the area moved in and kicked the Palestinians out? And who is it that has the support of the U.S., the most powerful bully in the world? I have no sympathy for terrorists, but the Israeli have a lot of blood on their hands as well.
