Explain the Red and the Black.
What relationship does the red and the black, roulette, playing cards, and snooker have with saturday, sunday and religion?

Nothing with weekends.
In the pre-Christian Celtic religions red, black and white were the three sacred colors. These carried over into the middle ages and became attached to games of chance. |

2nd part of the last great two-part mythology arc, in the X-Files 5th series. Patient X/The Red and The Black revolved around the black oil and Cassandra Spender and a mass alien abduction. And I think its the one that had the hot Krycek/Covarrubias makeout scene.
