Thanks for pointing this out Jeffrey. I would not want to make that gross error twice. You are certainly on the ball today.

Best wishes,

Well, it does raise the question of how careful you are in your painstaking research and your transcription of your sources, and whether we can really trust you to accurately represent the words of scholars you adduce.

In any case, thanks for not answering my questions about Schenke and for once again dodging my question about your knowledge of Bede.

The same may be said you and the new testament that we know to have been lavishly published in the time of Eusebius and Constantine, replete with the "histories adduced" for the preceeding three centuries. Hook, line and sinker. And you attempt to cite some new found "christian grafitti" as evidence from the third century. More fraud Jeffrey - dont you see?

My painstaking research has attempted to ask this very simple question: what evidence do we have for the existence of the new testament and the apochrypha and its authors in an historical sense prior to the rise of the despot Constantine? Your graffiitti is another fraud. The evidence tendered for the existence of christians before the Boss decided to sponsor the sorry bunch of apologists is .... NULL .... yes ... the proverbial empty set.

The great silence is deeper than midnight's deep voice and it contends for an objective and scholarly assessment in the field of ancient history of the to-date very real possibility that the history of christian origins is confined to the fourth century.

Best wishes,

Pete
