Default Soul purification

Xtian doctrine regarding entering heaven and my comments.

Quote:
The simple answer is because of the Holiness of God.
Protestant objections to Purgatory have their origins in a failure to truly understand God's ABHORRENCE of Sin. He can have no sin in His presence. Yet even the finest of Redeemed Christians is not perfect.

"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is
not in us." I John 1:8.

Scripture teaches that: nothing unclean shall ever enter heaven (Rev. 21:27) and, while we may die with our sins forgiven, there can still be many impurities in us, In this state very few would ever enter heaven.
Jesus makes clear the type of perfection which is necessary for Heaven. "You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." Matt. 5:48.

Therefore a change must occur in all of us sinners after death. Before Christians can enter the presence of God in heaven, purification is necessary.

Of course god will not just change people while on earth, he must have this little show before he changes us to what he really wants us to be.

God made you who you are, and infinitely loves you just the way you are, but he’s going to change you later so he can stand your filthy little presence!

If we must be changed people to enter heaven then why bother to judge the pre-changed state?? This seems like some sort of reality game show entertainment for god’s viewing pleasure. If he really wanted to he could just change everyone and bring us to heaven but oh no... what could possibly be the point of holding you accountable, then changing you? it’s kinda sick when you really think about it.

A 1 day old infant must be judged and changed if it dies?

If God cannot stand to be in the presence of sin, then how can he possibly be here with us now?

Adam and Eve could have just been made perfect from the start since that is god’s end goal anyway.

I have no idea what the sequence of words near "presence" is supposed to mean. Where exactly is this place without any God in it? Could anti-God plotters defeat His omniscience by surrounding their building with masturbators, creating a region through which God could not pass?

The concept is ludicrous.

I was waiting for the tortured christian apologetics on how God can't stand to be in the presence of sin yet he is active in a sinful world...

I have no idea. I think the entire "can't be in the presence of sin" thing is an attempt to justify hell that was never subjected to even casual analysis.
