The trick is to make them like being inferior. If you can't deny them a soul, then put them on a pedestal. Praise the Virgin Mary. Religions are good at drawing a line, with women below it.

Unfortunately, there are still a lot of women who buy into the "little woman" philosophy--which reinforces men's view that women are inferior. Even the president of Harvard believes that.
