The Word/Son is not the Father but is still God.

Mary giving birth to God also does not mean that the Logos was not pre-existent either. The Logos existed before the Incarnation even though it became flesh through Mary...

It was yesterday and it was beautiful. The church was full and the priest spoke of her incredible joy and love for living and for her family, her friends and her Lord. Her parents took great comfort in how many people came to say goodbye to her. Their house is so empty without her though, she will be greatly missed.
How was your service on Thursday?
