I have also had an MRI. Perhaps we should all change our avatars for proof?

Being a mod isn't all its cracked up to be anyways, the best part is the people that you meet and getting to know them more personally.

So was I but the bullying I was subjected was more due to being a liberal Christian in the heart of Red America and this was just icing on the cake. Also learned about bad relationships early first hand and how being with a closeted hypocrite wasn't for me.

Yeah, totally. In my case it was because I was white and liked school while the "cool" kids were Hispanic and "homeboys." Being gay was just the icing on the "not cool" cake.

You're lucky though. I still don't have much experience with relationships, but at least I'm not closeted.

That's weird. We have a friend who's an Army Officer but as a kid she was a Navy brat and went to high school in Hawaii. The Native Hawaiians derisively call whites "haoles" and she said every Friday was "beat a haole day".

Relationships can be good and bad, but the main thing about them depends on being in them only with people of integrity. I'm talking intimate, sexual relationships...obviously many of us have family who are difficult. It'll be 5½ years for us Next Saturday. Of course you never know what will happen. I tend to not like my in-laws too much...but we just found out about the security check which held up my wife appearing in a work group with the Secretary of State. It wasn't because of her juvenile record, it was because of my hippie peacenik Dad! Oh, how embarassing.

As to being closeted versus out, out's a lot better except when it seems to give a queer boss permission to sexually harass.
