I don't know I only know that when the thread is split you have to resubscribe. I always use the posting mechanism to do it.

I'm confused. Bevlina closed the non-Nicene forum thread, and now it's open AND her post about the closure is gone. Maybe one of the mods who are assigned to that forum thought she overstepped?

Given how long the threads been going on, it would seem if the forum mods wanted to close it they would have. The discourse isn't substantively different in tone today versus yesterday or 2 days ago.
When mods delete their posts or fail to document a mod action, such as closing and re-opening or moving a thread, it smacks of cover-up to me. What is she ashamed of Why not just re-open it and say so?

The action was fairly shameful. Closing a thread that you had just started to read because you think it has run its course and you aren't patient enough to wait for a forum mod to get online.

Radorth is a sad, bitter old man of fragile faith.

In other news, water is wet.

Here's the weather update for Waterloo, Ontario, Canada:

-15 C
40km/h winds
Six inches of snow in the past 24 hours

Yup, it's winter in Canada. I saw someone on his snowmobile Thursday night driving down one of the main roads.

This is something which makes me wonder ... if ever CF would organize such a turkey giveaway, would they first have recipients show their baptism papers and male certain recipients were "true rule 6 Christians"?

I'm sure CF would never give away trukeys to those damned leiberal christians, mormons, freemasons or JWs!
