Anyway does anybody have something reasonable to say? Chris Weimer, the young promising scholar perhaps? Juliana |

Send me a copy, Juliana, and I will be happy to review. Too busy at the moment, probably have to wait until summer. But never fear, I will get around to it one way or another.
It is good sales are going well, people will explore the idea, find it is crap, and move onto more serious scholarly work. Vorkosigan |

Hi Infidels,
I just read the following message from O Valerius Scerio, aka Chris Weimer, here: http://www.unrv.com/forum/index.php?...pic=3579&st=15 I have and read the travesty called "Jesus Was Caesar". It was sent to me by one of the translators because I refused to by it. It's not entirely without use - there's some interesting stuff in there, but after excavating the gems it may find it's new home at a used book store. I sent a copy of Jesus was Caesar to Chris Weimer because I thought he was an interested young scholar who perhaps could say something intelligent about it. Well, that doesn't seem to be the case, so maybe he could send it to the great wannabe NT-scholar Vorkosigan. Valete Juliana |

It's Q. I figured that the great Latinist Juliana should have recognized the praenomen Q for Quintus.
And as for "bright, young scholar" perhaps you were thinking of "dimwitted dupe who might fall for the garbage that Carotta wrote" as any "bright scholars" regardless of age would immediately recognize the bunk in that book. Cheers, Chris Weimer PS - If anyone wants it, I'll send it, free of charge. |
