Christian Reconstructionism is a common topic in CSS, but I don't know of any current Biblical scholars who take it seriously. Christian Reconstructionists, in particular Gary North, predicted loudly and seriously that modern secular western civilization would crash on 1-1-2000, dut to the Y2K computer big. I think they lost a certain amount of credibility on that issue.
