As an adjective, emo can describe a style of fashion or music; or a general state of unhappiness or melancholy (as in "to feel emo"), as those stereotyped of emo are often unhappy, think they are misunderstood, and may have mild paranoia

I find that folk normally choose the easier path or the path of less resistance and this is normally based on the knowledge they have at the time.

Atheists believe there is no after life, hence when you flush its over, gone etc.

Some theists believe there is a life after which could be good or bad.

What do you guys think?

Who is more likely to toss the bucket when things on this lovely planet makes stress and unhappiness level reach unbearable levels.
A study has been done on this. Results; Religious are more depressed.

Are Atheists more depressed than religious people?

I worry more about the ones who are willing to commit suicide in order to take their supposed enemies with them....

...its tempting to say that the religious have a monopoly on this, but given the past behavior of both hard-core communists and fascists, aggressively suicidal behavior can comfortably use ideology as a substitute to religion...

It doesn't make a difference.

I don't think the question holds much weight. It's kind of like asking who are more likely to commit suicide, people who can curl their or people who can't? Any difference may be disregarded as entirely irrelevant. I suppose you could have some strict theistic practices that forbid suicide with threats of damnation cut down on suicides a bit. Though we really wouldn't see too much of a difference.

Do suicide bombers count in, or theists who in any way would commit suicide for the sake of their religion?

I would say depressed people commit suicide more than any other group.

As a life long atheist, I have never even considered suicide... What's the point really?

And yes, I believe religious people are more suicidal. There is a lot of good depressing stuff in the bible that will make you feel pretty shitty. Not to mention the ever present intolerance among religious people which easily can drive people to do stupid things, esp after they have been told by their local pastor that they will end up in hell, no matter what.
